Available for exclusive use, No. 14 is ideal for special celebrations, corporate skiing weekends and groups looking to be pampered. A flexible booking policy also allows for individual room reservations during certain periods.
No.14 has 13 stylish en suite bedrooms. The interiors are a chic, contemporary take on classic chalet style, featuring bespoke furniture handmade in London. Top quality touches including Vi-Spring mattresses, Frette bed linen and Bamford Spa toiletries add to the air of refined luxury.
The team at No.14 is dedicated to offering you the highest level of service, preserving your privacy while making you feel perfectly at home. With a dedicated team of staff, there is always someone on hand to help, any time of day or night.
No.14 is owned by David Pearson, a pioneer in Verbier luxury chalet holidays, who founded his first business there more than 25 years ago. David has been running exclusive chalets in Verbier ever since, now focusing all his passion on No. 14 and its discerning clientele.
No.14’s spa facilities are a welcome treat after a hard day on the slopes. The 10-metre indoor pool, steam room, Jacuzzi and cold plunge pool are perfect for relaxing tired muscles, all with a glass of chilled champagne to hand. There are two treatment rooms and massages and beauty treatments can be booked at any time during the day or evening. Outside, there are two irresistible cedar hot tubs: one on the south-facing terrace, as well as a private tub for two on the balcony of the chalet’s master bedroom.
For any guests who fancy a film night, No. 14 has a home cinema room complete with cosy seating, blankets and dimmed lighting for the ultimate viewing experience. Netflix, Sky TV and games consoles make this the perfect retreat for teenagers and children.
No.14 has a complimentary 24-hour driver service, so whenever you want to be transported anywhere within the resort of Verbier, one of the chalet’s 4×4 vehicles will be just a few minutes away. Stuck in your ski boots at an après-ski bar? One of our drivers will happily bring your shoes to you so you can show off your best moves. And if you want to enjoy Verbier’s legendary nightlife (we can’t blame you there!) our drivers will pick you up whenever you want.
FOOD & DRINK
Owned by a professionally trained chef, exceptional food and services are at the heart of No. 14. With three chefs in the No.14 kitchen, you will always be spoilt with delicious food. Guests can enjoy the flexibility of choosing their own style of dining, or leaving everything in Head Chef Agathe’s very capable hands.
Breakfast & Afternoon Tea
At No. 14, mornings in the mountains are a flexible affair, with breakfast based entirely around what each guest feels like every morning. Our chefs can rustle up a chia seed and raspberry posset just as easily as eggs Benedict, pressed juice or a full English. Our freshly ground coffee is roasted in Bristol by the fantastic Extract Coffee roasters. All of their coffee is sourced ethically and responsibly from farmers around the world. Each winter Founder Lee comes to No.14 at the start of the season to teach our chalet team everything there is know about the coffee they are making for you. It is the perfect accompaniment to breakfast, setting you up for a day on the slopes (or in the spa!)
Afternoon tea is always a welcome sight for weary skiers. The No.14 chefs provide a selection of savoury and sweet delicacies, made to your preferences to ensure you have exactly the pick-me-up you fancy each afternoon.
At No.14, the drinks flow freely! There is a fully stocked complimentary bar and a selection of fine house wines. Our bartenders have all undergone extensive cocktail training with a mixologist guru from the Cotswolds Distillery. No.14 uses an excellent wine merchant, so if you would like to pre-order something extra special we will do all we can to facilitate this. Our house champagne, Perrier Jouet Grand Brut, is always chilled and waiting for you.
Canapés and drinks are served daily prior to the main event of the evening: dinner. Guests are offered a choice of three tempting dining genres: traditional fine dining, a more casual style of ‘sharing plates’, influenced by Asian cuisine, or a ‘bistro’ style. Staff like to speak with guests about a week before arrival to ensure that they have a proper grasp of preferences and menu ideas. Any specific requests are always welcome.
As for children, the chefs will make sure that they are catered for just as well as adults and are happy to devise menus with parents.
