America Farm
America Farm is a very stylish six bedroom Georgian farmhouse style property close to Oxford.
THE HOUSE
At first glance, America Farm appears to simply be a traditional, white stucco Georgian English farmhouse. Yet, upon closer inspection, hints of Scandinavian and Caribbean style run throughout, influences that combine to create a light filled and airy symmetry. This rich and finely detailed home is also incredibly relaxed, a true ‘Slice of England’.
America Farm is exclusively set in private hedge bordered lawn gardens, behind wrought iron gates at the end of a peaceful lane. Broad rural vistas stretch out across the land on which the house resides. This unique retreat, hidden away in a pocket of south eastern Oxfordshire, has been described by Vogue as a “Dreamy English Country Home”.
BEDROOMS
There are six bedrooms:
- The Master (king size en-suite)
- Felix’s Room (full/double)
- Domino’s Room (single)
- Conrad’s Bunk Room (4 bunks)
- The Guest Room (queen size, ground floor with adjacent shower room)
- Amory’s Loft (queen size, en-suite, above the oak garage)
LOCATION
Conveniently located, America Farm is less than 50 miles away and easily accessible from London. Meanwhile, the M40 is just six miles from the house, so it is perfectly placed for exploring the many charms of the area. With Oxford only 15 miles away, Henley-on-Thames – charming, historic, and great for afternoon tea and a stroll down the river – is a 20 minute drive, and nearby Wallingford is superb for for antiquing with Thames boat hire just down the road in Benson. Heathrow Airport is a 40 minute drive away.
