Luxury Rural Retreats, the new sister brand to Luxury Cotswold Rentals, is part of a deliberately small, niche concierge based luxury private house rental agency. Created by Nigel and Maria Stengard-Green for their own property it has slowly grown as like minded owners have found and joined our select portfolio, Luxury Rural Retreats has been created to provide a home for fabulous properties in other parts of the United Kingdom outside The Cotswolds and further afield. But like Luxury Cotswold Rentals we know every property and every owner on Luxury Rural Retreats personally; so we can be your guide to the best of British and overseas retreats.

The Luxury Rural Rentals Difference

The Luxury Rural Rentals difference is based on hand picking the best holiday cottages and private country houses available, whose owners pride themselves in creating a home away from home that is a world away; and our unique Concierge service. Because we know each location and property intimately - and know all our owners personally - we can answer any question and guide you to the perfect property or destination; be it for the ideal venue for a celebratory weekend or the drop dead location for a very memorable vacation or staycation. And we deliberately have quite a small selection of properties - only properties we love and which have committed and caring owners - you can be assured of a wonderful stay in a very special place in a very unique part of the world.

THE WARMEST OF WELCOMES

When you arrive you will find that the owner’s housekeeping team has expertly prepared the house for your stay; stocked with the essentials and furnished with soft towels, beds made up with high thread count Egyptian cotton bed linen and complimentary toiletries. And the rental rates are always inclusive, so no extra charges for taxes, utilities, pool heating or internet access. And before you ask, all our properties have WiFi as standard.

The Housekeeper, or Property Manager, will be there to meet you, guide you around the property, answer any question and leave you with the keys. And they will be on hand during your stay to answer any further questions and troubleshoot in the – very unlikely – event of something not working quite as it should.

We have been providing a concierge based luxury property rental service to owners and guests since 2004 and have in depth knowledge of every property and location to ensure you have an inside track. Hence being able to provide our guests with our unique Passport and bespoke guide to every location with our App. And you can contact us any time as we will be available throughout your stay for advice, help and guidance.

We can also not just help you find the perfect property or venue but we can help you plan your trip, organise events or activities and arrange travel and staff, with our bespoke concierge service; anything you need to make your stay in this unique part of the world even more unique. From simply introducing you to our trusted partners to organising a complete weekend or week of activities.

Passport™ & LRR App

We have created, and still are building, a wonderful network of partners – independent retailers, restaurants, distillers, venues, therapists etc. – who not only make it pay to stay in one of our unique properties but also when you are back at home. Some are local to individual properties but an increasing number – like the wonderful Lewis & Wood – are national or international. All of these partners we are great fans of, which is why we simply wanted them to encourage you to sample their unique offerings. You will find out more on our Passport page.
