Little Polgarron Booby’s Bay Cornwall
Swathed in glass and timbered gables, Little Polgarron is the ultimate Cornish beach house accommodating up to 10 guests and located next to the prestigious Trevose Head golf course and just a few minutes’ walk from the beach at Booby’s Bay; one of North Cornwall’s most desirable locations.
The interiors style has been created by Jill Stein and is coastal-hip, with driftwood features, oversized storm lanterns, locally sourced art and sculptures and designer furnishing. The theme is echoed in a beautiful Scabetti ‘Shoal Light’ of swirling bone-china fish in the double-height entrance hall. Expect luxurious touches throughout including a warming Stuv woodburner in the cosy living room and Gaggenau appliances in the bespoke kitchen as well as a cinema room.
Outside, an acre of garden includes a terrace with sun loungers and a BBQ area. A gate gives direct access to the South West Coastal Path and the beach.
Little Polgarron is a ten-minute drive from Padstow, between the Trevose Head golf course to the rear and Booby’s Bay, to the front, is 285 miles from London. The nearest train station is at Bodmin Parkway, 25 miles away and taxis can be arranged. The nearest airports are Newquay (15 miles) and Bristol (156 miles) with London Heathrow 271 miles away.

All five beautiful bedrooms have stunning sea views as well as sumptuous ViSpring beds, two featuring oak four-posters. The deck-chair colour scheme, beautiful bleached wood and tree trunk stools add to the coastal chic.

Water Activities
One of the best surfing bays in Cornwall, Booby’s Bay is just a stroll from the house, via the garden. Harlyn Surf School hires out boards, or book a surfing, stand up paddle boarding, coasteering or sea kayaking lesson. Boat trips and fishing can also be arranged.
Food & Restaurants
Nearby Padstow offers some excellent dining options. Rick Stein’s flagship Seafood Restaurant is a splurge you won’t regret. More relaxed is Stein’s Fish and Chips or Michelin-starred Paul Ainsworth at No.6 is a firm favourite. Across the estuary, head to Rock; laid-back beachside eatery Four Boys, The popular The Mariners Pub relaunched in 2019 by Paul and Emma Ainsworth. A little further afield at Port Issac, Nathan Outlaw’s eponymous restaurants Outlaws New Road and Outlaws Fish Kitchen are also not to be misse

Nearby Trevose Golf & Country Club offers one of the UK’s best golf courses. Relax afterwards at The Scarlet Spa in Mawgan Porth with its lantern-lit treatment rooms and cliff-top hot tub. Enjoy a coastal walk, such as Trevose to Padstow via Stepper Point, Bedruthan Steps to Trevose, or over to Constantine Bay. OS maps are provided. Hire bikes from Padstow Cycle Hire and discover the Camel Trail on two wheels. If you fancy staying closer to home, we can arrange for personal trainers, beauty and massage therapists, and even yoga and Pilates instructors, to come to the house.
